My 2019 Expedition based around the altered image of pulp magazine covers. A series of large and small scale oil paintings that feature real people partaking in strange and exciting combat. Merging the old science fiction stories with the reality of people who would later be inspired by them.

Bear on Park Point

Life sized silhouettes of Bears made out of cardboard and placed on the thick ice of Duluth’s Park Point creating the illusion of Bears in the distance.

Take a Tree

Made to bring more attention towards the Boundary waters and encourage an environmental attitude in peoples young and old. A series of Take out boxes filled with dirt, 2 worms, and a tree seed that can act as a simple compost box for your window until it is grown enough to be planted in ones yard.
